  • Develop a resume that talks about your job history and assesses your skills and interests.

Search Online

There are some websites that you can look at that have job postings that may fit your skills and interests. If you already have a resume and are ready to look for work try looking at the following sites:

Most job searching is done online these days, but there are also other ways that you can also apply for a job.

Some places have job kiosks on site, that allow you to fill out an application, and some local newspapers also print job postings.

Talk to disability employment professionals

If you are a person with a disability, and you think you need more support looking for a job:

  • The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission is another good place to begin looking for employment supports. They are the state’s vocational rehabilitation agency, which means they assist individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain employment. They can help partner with you around things like
    • resume preparation,
    • job-seeking skills training,
    • electronic job hunting strategies,
    • interview skills training,
    • finding job leads and,
    • even job placement assistance.
