Vision Statement
To create an environment in which youth and adults with disabilities can achieve economic well-being and community inclusion through full participation in the competitive workforce.
Mission Statement
Bristol Employment Collaborative (BEC) is a sustained collaboration which works to maximize the employment services delivery system to enable people with disabilities to participate in the full range of employment opportunities in the greater Attleboro, Fall River and Taunton area.
Goals
- Develop skills training with or without certification for people with disabilities who want to work in human services.
- Engage employers as partners and provide training and resources for employers.
- Provide employer supported training for job developers to do their jobs more effectively.
- Provide internship and mentorship opportunities including soft skills training designed around the needs of students with disabilities entering the workforce.
